Hello, World!

Blog entry number one. I'm watching Twilight right now, having read the book for my bookclub (you know, the one I haven't been to in 2 months?) I'm not really seeing the hype about the "gorgeous" leading man. First plot hole--Bella starts at a new school and is instantly welcomed into a clique of normal kids? Hello? High school can't have changed that much since my day. I must say, the "horny guy as vampire" metaphor is even more vivid onscreen. "When we taste human blood, a sort of frenzy begins, and it's almost impossible to stop." In other words, "come on baby, I can't stop, blue balls hurts."

Okay, vampire boy is growing on me... I hope Ava meets a nice vampire boy like Edward when she's in high school, at least there'd be no risk of her getting pregnant.

We're trying to sell a "classic" 1995 Ford Probe by trying to figure out where all the teenagers are hanging out this week (it's spring break) and parking it in lots where it will be seen. So far we've tried Walmart, Starbucks, and the city gym. No dice. I created a craiglist post today and almost immediately got a weird email from a guy asking if I'd consider a "trade" and if I had any pictures. What if he wasn't talking about cars? :)
